Campus Facilities

A library service of any institute is its heart. At SRI we have a separate Dept. of Library, that looks after various departmental libraries spread all over the campus with extensive coverage of books. In addition, dictionaries, thesaurus and encyclopedias are provided for reference purposes. Keeping in view the fast changes in technology the Library service is also computerized and automated with software.

Since inception, SRI continues to maintain an impressive and consistent training and placement record because we consider placement not as an event but an ongoing process.

Lush Green Gardens

SRI  is surrounded by lush green gardens having wide range of flowers and fruits. The grass gardens serve as a great spot for students to unwind  and give a sensuous view to the visitors, students and staff members.  SRI also has  a dedicated collection of herbs and medicinal plants in the college garden.

Open-Air Stage

Open-Air Stage, is situated centrally in the campus providing a boost to the co/extra-curricular activities and other institute gatherings. The generous space makes it the preferred venue for organizing cultural programs, annual functions, youth festivals, convocation, student presentations and competitions. The Open-Air Stage is thoughtfully designed for its optimum visual comfort

Cafeteria

State of art cafeteria with modern facilities and great ambience is present in SRI campus which caters all kinds of continental, Chinese and Indian food.

Seminar Hall

SRI  has well furnished adequately spacious and magnificent Seminar Halls with seating capacity of 300+300  students at a time. The Halls are  well equipped with all facilities like a projector, audio-visual, aids and amplifiers etc. The institution keeps on inviting renowned academicians and intellectuals in different spheres for addressing the students and the teaching staff on various subjects, topics of academic and other co-related pursuits with a view to widen the horizon of knowledge of the students and the staff as well. Competitive events in difference academic spheres are also organized to give an exposure to their talents, potentialities and overall development of the students

Conference Hall

The students are given a taste of corporate meetings by setting up group discussions in conference hall. All the Plans, Meetings, New Strategies for the development of the Institution are also held in the conference hall.

Hostel

Hostel facilities are available to provide students with homely atmosphere that strengthen the feeling of being at home. The hostels offers furnished accommodation separately for girls and boys.

IT Service Center

IT Services Centre is a centralized facility for catering several IT needs of students and staff. It has been provided with 24 hours of internet facility with 12MBPS internet connectivity with dedicated leased line. The Institute's IT infrastructure is equipped with latest hardware and software both for client and server computing.

Library

The knowledge base of library is updated regularly by way of adding new literature in the form of text books, reference books reports, encyclopedias & data books.Library is also equipped with regular subscription of national & international Journals, newspapers and magazines.

The DELNET facility enables the Institute to access about 1000 National & international libraries and offer ample books, videos, CD ROMs, journals etc.

The periodicals section is also enriched with volumes of scientific technical periodicals and journals of which many are from overseas.

Training & Placement Centre

SRI’s Training and Placement Centre provides information, advises, guides and supports students & has forged tie-ups with several companies.

Sports Ground and Academy

Sports play a pivotal role in shaping one’s personality and maintaining good health. Shining Star Sports academy and Sports Ground at  SRI enable the institute to keep students engaged in physical activities and to host various events. Shining Star Sports academy recently organized the "All India Under 19 Cricket Tournament" in the sports ground at SRI were 32 teams from 20 cities of various states and from Nepal competed for the trophy.
