Department, one of the well equipped department of the institute, boasts of specialization like production, thermal, designing, planning, quality control etc. constant and careful attention to the department has immensely helped in maintaining it up to date, which provide the student the technical know how. It is strictly monitored that students do have rigorous training in the machine shops, smithy, carpentry, measurement, testing etc. which form the part of the curriculum.
